About

Hello! My name is Zach Arnold. Here is some information about me and why I wanted to create ZARNEYMEDIA:

I grew up in a town called Reading, Massachusetts, which is 20 minutes north of Boston. For as long as I can remember, NASCAR has been my passion. In 2019, I went to my second NASCAR race, this was my sophomore year in high school and my family took a trip to Florida. My dad and I went to the Daytona 500, this day turned out to be one of the best days of my life.

We returned home within the next week and I realized that I had nobody in my school who I could talk about NASCAR with, being from the North, I wasn’t surprised. One night, I sat down and figured that social media would be my best shot at finding other NASCAR fans that I could connect with. On March 2nd, 2019, I created an Instagram page called “@nascarnonstop.” Little did I know then that this page would be what helped me figure out what I wanted to do for a career, what to pursue in college, and allowed me to meet people that I could talk about NASCAR with.

Two years later, I enrolled to High Point University with a major in Social Media and Digital Communications. This was a huge step in being able to find my way closer within the sport as HPU is in North Carolina. In my freshman year alone, I spent my weekends driving to any NASCAR race that was within an 8 hour drive from my campus. Wasn’t much of a party kid, and going to a NASCAR race was 100x better.

I began to make connections within the sport, who were generous enough to supply me with a VIP pass, allowing me to get my first experience posting content from the infield garage. This is where I was able to fall in love even more with NASCAR, and only fueled my passion more.

After a year or two traveling to races and getting inside the pits with a VIP pass, I wanted more. I reached out to several media outlets with hopes they were looking for another writer to their roster. A week before traveling back to NC as summer break was ending, News From The Pits (Ashley McCubbin) gave me my first opportunity and I’ll be always be grateful for her.

2023 Darlington Fall marked my first race with a seat in the media center, this valuable experience changed the way I viewed media production, storytelling, and content creation. Long story short, I would travel to many races reporting for News From The Pits through the 2024 season ahead of my senior year in college.

By graduation, I had traveled to 60+ NASCAR races and made the decision to move to Charlotte, NC, post-grad to become closer to the sport. This was a big decision, leaving my family and friends from back up in Boston and surrounding myself in a new city 700 miles from home where I knew nobody.

This leads me up to current present time, currently working a ‘Digital Marketing Manager’ full-time role (outside of NASCAR). I rebranded to ZARNEYMEDIA in February 2026 before the season kicked off in Daytona.

I’ve always dreamed of having my own media outlet and figured that there was no better time to do that than during February’s rebrand. As of today, ZARNEYMEDIA will provide breaking news articles, race recaps, discussion posts, and driver & sport updates online. On social media, ZARNEYMEDIA will continue to post news graphics, live-feed posting during events, on-site coverage which is driven through my love for the sport, the website and social media’s are all only operated by myself.

Thank you for stopping by, I’d love to connect with you. There is a contact page on this website. If you would prefer email or message, my email is zarneymedia@gmail.com or shoot me a DM on my personal IG (@zacharnold88).
